The future General Hospital of Concepción, which will have an investment of USD 40 million, will benefit more than 266,000 inhabitants of the Department of Concepción and surrounding areas such as Amambay, President Hayes, San Pedro and Alto Paraguay.
The hospital will have 219 beds, 32 offices, 32 intensive therapy unit, 6 operating rooms. In addition, you will have specialized hemodialysis, post surgical recovery, preparation and attention to the newborn, Aumás de Albergue.
It will also have support areas such as kitchen and dining room, laundry, and parking.
The future health center will have an infrastructure of 19,709 square meters in a 15 -hectare property and will be designed to provide comprehensive and timely care, especially in areas such as emergencies, maternity and pediatrics. Every detail, from the halls to the rooms, will be designed to serve patients effectively and humanly.
The hospital will be built in a field assigned by the Governorate of Concepción to the MSPYBS. The property is located on the Py05 route.
The General Hospital of Concepción is the result of a joint work between the Ministry of Public Health and Social Welfare, responsible for the architectural medical program; the binational itaipu as a financier and the Ministry of Public Works and Communications as an inspector.
