The new cultural and community center of the Fundação Arte e Cultura was inaugurated this morning, Friday (28), on the Island of Luanda.
One of the largest and most complete cultural spaces in the country, the center located in the foundation’s new headquarters has several compartments, including music rooms, a library, art rooms, a computer room and a vegetable garden.
Several personalities were present at the inauguration of the center, with emphasis on the Secretary of State for creative industries, João Pedro Cunha Lourenço, members of the government, diplomats and businesspeople.
The Foundation’s General Director, Naama Margalit, highlighted its growth and its work on behalf of communities.
In turn, the Secretary of State for Creative Industries, who inaugurated the space, on behalf of the Minister of Culture, welcomed the contribution of the Art and Culture Foundation in valuing, disseminating and promoting culture in the country.

With 14 years of existence, the Fundação Arte e Cultura, a cultural organization, benefits more than 350 children and teenagers, enrolled in various areas of training ranging from art to citizenship.
