The Fresmart supermarket chain, belonging to the Newaco Group, opened its new unit this Thursday morning (25), located in Ingombotas, which created 35 new jobs.
A brand already consolidated in the national market, whose objective is to expand its supermarkets in its network, the group opened its 7th unit this year, spread across various parts of Luanda.
“This is the 7th store we have opened of a very ambitious project we have for next year, but always in this format, of small stores to always have the basics of the basic food basket and serve local customers“, said Hélder Inácio, Operations Director at Fresmart.
The opening of the new store was also attended by the Administrator of the Urban District of Ingombotas, Paulo Furtado, who declared that this store represents a gain for the district he heads, as it created new jobs and guarantees a proximity service.
This year alone, the Fresmart supermarket chain created around 230 jobs. It also has more than 25 units in Luanda and Dundo, Lunda-Norte province, which together have a storage capacity of around 25 tons.
Budgeted at more than 300 thousand US dollars, the new Fresmart Express store, occupies a total area of 330 square meters, will open every day from 8 am to 8 pm.
