The thermometer must reach between 36 ºC and 38 ºC in the west of the country this weekend, about ten degrees more than the normal temperature in this period, according to the weather institute.
The heat wave will be extended throughout the territory on Saturday, when the popular music party is celebrated, with outdoor concerts. The temperature could reach 39 ºC.
The three previous heat waves that began before June 21 occurred in the 21st century, a frequency that “is part of this logic of climate change,” according to Météo-France.
