FPÖ – Belakowitsch: “Public life must remain analogue!” | Freedom Party Parliamentary Group – 2024-06-19 09:56:05

Vienna (OTS) “With this law, the ÖVP and the Greens are opening a Pandora’s box of increasing digitization in the public sector. In this case, too, it is a question of a vulnerable group. Those affected by unemployment are often not in the best mental state. In addition, people need a social life and social contacts. The ÖVP and the Greens are obviously unable to put themselves in the shoes of those affected,” said FPÖ social affairs spokeswoman Dagmar Belakowitsch today in her contribution to the debate on the government’s plan to install further digitization in the area of the employment service at the expense of Austrian workers.

“Public life must remain analogue, because otherwise digitalization will lead to dehumanization in the long term. We, the Freedom Party, are committed to preserving analogue life in the public sector, in public institutions and offices, and to keeping it freely accessible – digitalization where it is required, but only as much as necessary and as little as possible. Because too much digitalization simply leads to dehumanization. We want to shape the future for people as social beings and not just let it trickle along and run,” emphasised the FPÖ social affairs spokesperson.
