Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou announced the sad news: His one-year-old son died!

Cameroonian professional MMA wrestler and boxer Francis Ngannou has faced the best fighters throughout his career. However, he now experiences the greatest pain outside the ring. The former UFC champion shared a heartbreaking post on Instagram announcing the death of his son Kobe (†1).

It hasn’t even been two months since Francis Ngannou got loaded by British boxer Anthony Joshua. Although he was very disappointed after the match, his heart could at least be warmed by the fabulous reward of 16 million dollars (375 million crowns), thanks to which he certainly put his bad mood behind him soon. But now there is a pain in the former UFC champion’s life that money will never heal.

“Too soon to leave me, but he’s already gone” it was at the beginning of a moving post by a Cameroonian wrestler in which he spoke about the death of his son. “My little boy, my friend and partner, Kobe was full of life and joy, but now he lies without him. I screamed his name over and over, but he didn’t respond.” continued a devastated Ngannou.

“How to deal with something like that, how to live with something like that. Please help me if you have any idea because I really don’t know. I do not know what to do,” it read at the end of a statement in which he turned to his fans for help.

A huge wave of solidarity was immediately launched in the comments, and multiple UFC champion Conor McGregor was one of the first to rush in with sincere condolences. “No parent should have to go through this. Condolences,” wrote the irish beater.

The sad news also hit Anthony Joshua, who boxed against Ngannou in March. “May your memories together bring you comfort,” condoled the Olympic champion. Other well-known names from the world of combat sports, such as Mike Bisping, Henry Cejudo and Marvin Vettori, also appeared in the comments.
