So she finally got it! Tennis player Lucie Hradecká (38) announced on Friday evening that she gave birth to her first child. The Olympic silver medalist posted a happy message on the social network.
It’s not even two years since the five-time Fed Cup winner decided to end her rich career. However, she did not enjoy the peace for very long. Yesterday, she gave birth to her first child at Apolinář’s maternity hospital in Prague, whom she was expecting with physiotherapist David Vydra. In addition to Hradecka, he also previously took care of Petra Kvitová and Radek Štěpánek.
“And there is one more of us at home. Thank you very much for the perfect and professional care from beginning to end to the maternity hospital at Apolinář and especially to Mr. Prof. Mudr. Paris CSC,” wrote the happy mother to the photo in which she and her partner David are smiling next to the new member of the family.
Of course, Lucca’s former colleagues did not miss the happy news either, so immediately after the photo was published, she started collecting congratulations on her Instagram. “Congratulations,” wrote Tournament of Champions winner Laura Siegemund, who added a picture of an inflatable balloon to her message. “Many congratulations,” Czech tennis player Jesica Malečková continued.
Hradecká will have to get back in shape after a short break and get used to her new role as a mother. For advice, she can go to her friend Andrea Sestini Hlaváčková, for example, who gave birth to her daughter Bea less than a month ago. The information about the birth of the former tennis partner made her extremely happy. “Only the best Luci,” wrote Hlaváčková.
