It is known that Danu Arman was previously fired from his position as a judge at the Rangkasbitung District Court (PN). Now, the Supreme Court (MA) has reactivated Danu as a civil servant and has assumed the position of Judicial Case Analyst at the Yogyakarta High Court.
“The MKH hearing held by the Judicial Commission and the Supreme Court was related to ethical issues, which imposed the sanction of dishonorable dismissal as a judge. “This does not necessarily stop the status of the reported civil servant,” said KY spokesperson, Mukti Fajar Nur Dewata, Friday (15/3/2024).
In fact, Mukti said that if Danu Arman was reported in this case, he could take care of becoming an active civil servant, but he would not return to being a judge.
“If the person reported then takes care of being active again, either in a government office/institution, that’s possible, but not returning to being a judge. “In this case, Brother Danu Arman is again active as a civil servant at the Yogyakarta High Court.”
Meanwhile, the activation of Danu Arman as a civil servant is stated in the Decree of the Secretary of the Supreme Court (MA) of the Republic of Indonesia Number 2109/SEK/SK.KP8/XI/2023. The decree was issued on November 15 2023 and signed by Plt. Secretary MA Sugiyanto.
One of the considerations given by the Supreme Court to activate Danu Arman’s civil servant status was because he was declared to have completed a rehabilitation period at the Medical and Social Rehabilitation Center at the Lido Rehabilitation Center for 6 months.
