For the first time, Iranian auto parts manufacturers are also participating in the three-day Pakistan Auto Show 2023 starting Friday (October 27) at the Expo Center in Karachi.

159 companies including auto parts companies from China and Iran are participating in Pakistan Auto Show 2023 organized by Pakistan Association of Automotive Parts and Accessories Manufacturers.

Iranian auto parts manufacturers say that Iranian companies can export quality vehicles and auto parts to Pakistan, which will also reduce travel costs.

According to Raza Maliki, a board member of Tehran Auto and Machinery Union, a participant in the auto show, this is the first time that Iranian auto manufacturers companies are participating in any auto show in Pakistan, but Iran has been exporting vehicles and auto parts to Pakistan for a long time.

Speaking to Independent Urdu, Raza Maliki said: ‘Assess the business transactions between Iran and Pakistan by the fact that according to official data, Iran exported vehicles and auto parts worth 1 billion 700 million dollars to Pakistan last year. did, which increased to two billion 30 million dollars this year.’

He added: ‘Iran has a very strong auto parts supply chain. We have come to Pakistan for the first time to better understand the vehicle market in Pakistan.

Reza Maliki said that Iran produces more than 1.5 million vehicles annually and not only exports vehicles to Russia, Iraq and Sri Lanka, but Iran’s factories are also installed in these countries, where vehicles are assembled.

He claimed that Iran has the largest auto industry in the Middle East.

Ahmed Reza Ranai, Vice President of Iran Specialized Manufactures of Auto Parts Union, who participated in the auto show, said in a conversation with Independent Urdu that Iran has a huge auto parts industry. There are 1,600 auto parts factories in the country, which manufacture parts for all types of vehicles, including passenger vehicles.

According to Ahmad Raza Ranai: ‘Iran can export auto parts to Pakistan in large quantities. Iran and Pakistan are neighboring countries, so it will take less travel expenses to bring vehicles or parts from Iran to Pakistan than from China.
