The tornado appeared on the horizon shortly after the National Weather Service issued a tornado warning. Fortunately there are no reports of injuries, but only localized power outages in the area affected by the tornado. Some of the recordings found on the Internet show something similar to an explosion occurring as the funnel cloud spins.
The tornado traveled about 4 kilometers and, according to measuring devices, the wind swirling inside it had a speed of up to 129 km/h. As the phenomenon strengthened, it began to pass through power lines, ships and boats. The services learned of more serious damage when large branches fell on a house in one of the streets.

Local police are still checking the area to make sure that no one has been injured and that no homes have yet been damaged.
Robert Garcia of the National Weather Service warned that even more dangerous phenomena could occur in this region in the near future.

The NWS representative added that tornadoes during this time in Florida are not unheard of. He noted, however, that it is safer to wait for him at home or in another closed room, away from windows.
