Florida Bier Fest
- Comptroller Stadium, Santa Amalia 1024, La Florida.
- Saturday March 2.
- Tickets at Ticketplus.
The great Chilean and Argentine beer and cumbia festival Florida Bier Fest will have a new version at the beginning of next month, after its successful summer version last January 20.
The beloved Argentine cumbieros from Amar Azul, Agrupación Marilyn and Garras de Amor will be present, as well as the creators of homemade cumbia, Santaferia, who have had a powerful summer.
There will also be the urban, rap and Latin sound of Arte Elegante and the classics of Sound, Voltaje and La Gran Magia Tropical.
Standing out on the grid are Sonora 5 Estrellas, a beloved group from the northern area of Santiago and a classic of the new Chilean cumbia, Tomo Como Rey, celebrating its 20 years of history and its success at the Olmué festival, a band that in the words of the music journalist Johanna Watson are “punks, cumbiancheros but rockers, rebels with and without a cause. Their style proposal is a reflection of what they are and what we are, a combination of beliefs, modes, cultures, colors and sounds. For all that, they are transversal, furious and funny, serious and persevering.”
Tomo como rey will be part of the Florida Bier Fest on March 2, a powerful musical event to close the summer, in a great place, the Florida Comptroller Stadium.
