Florence + The Machine present their new song ‘My Love’

Florence and The Machine has become one of the most popular rock, indie and soul bands in the music industry for several years. Florence Welch’s powerful voice has conquered millions of people around the world, in addition to impacting projects such as ‘Lungs’ y ‘How Big, How Blue How Beautiful’.

After an extensive career that took off since 2007, the British indie rock group has made a mark with songs and releases such as ‘Ship to Wreck’, ‘Spectrum’, ‘Shake It Out’ y ‘Dog Days Are Over’. His passage through these sounds has managed to strike a chord with his audience and thus receive new proposals.

Florence and The Machine will release their new album ‘Dance Fever’ on May 13which was announced with the official premiere of the song ‘My Love’. The press release points out that this album was recorded in London during the pandemic, taking the vocalist to the inner point of her in full confinement where she missed the clubs, the festivals, the dances and the union in real meetings.

‘Dance Fever’ is produced by Jack Antonoff, in addition to having the participation of Dave Bayley, who helped the artist give a special twist to her project. The songs have nods to dance, folk, Iggy Pop of the 70s and themes related to Lucinda Williams.

The arrival of this album occurs with the premiere of ‘My Love’a song that goes hand in hand with a video clip directed by Autumn de Wilde, and which plays with the dance, the concepts of the parties, opaque and bright colors, while the synthesizers accompany perfectly.

This song was born in the kitchen of Florence’s house, who at first saw it as a small and sad poem. Her growth in her work with Bayley led to this song becoming an entity with sounds of ‘Nick Cave in the club’. ‘My Love’ is the follow-up to ‘King’ and ‘Heaven is Here’.
