Accused Raju also said in a simple confession, ‘Five people stole a white goat easy bike from the neighboring village of Shivpur. Later, I paid the price of the goat at 12,000 taka and gave the money to the helpers and came home with the goat. After a while, the police caught me.’
When asked who else was there when the goat was stolen, Raju said, ‘We steal the goat with an easy bike. At that time, I, Salman Shah of Charulia village, easy bike driver Sujan, Jamirul and Nawab were together.
Locals said that goat theft happens occasionally. The outpost police arrested one person along with a goat on Sunday night. But these goat thieves have a gang. Police should arrest everyone.
