CES 2024, the most important technology fair in the sector, will begin on January 9th, and announcements are expected in various sectors this year, although it is estimated that artificial intelligence will play a leading role, due to everything that is happened in 2023.

During the event there will be space to learn about advances in other consumer topics such as televisions, accessories, IoT devices, sustainable energy, accessibility, video games and appliances.

So below we tell you which announcements or technological trends are expected during CES 2024, which lasts until January 12 in Las Vegas.

The year 2023 has had artificial intelligence as a constant topic of conversation. This technology has not only started to drive the development of specific products, as in the case of ChatGPT, but has also started to be more present in devices such as mobile phones, video games and computers.

For this reason there is great anticipation to see what startups and large companies will do with these content generation systems. One example is natively integrating artificial intelligence into computers, so that it is present directly in the processing chips and not just through third-party applications.

But there will also be room to see platform developments that use artificial intelligence to provide new solutions. Like what RebuilderAI is doing to create tools for quickly and easily creating 3D content directly from mobile phones and DumboCam with the development of a pet training platform.

In 2023, Displace brought a wireless television to CES that gave the show something to talk about. At the time, however, the device was a prototype and not many details were provided, other than showing a panel that could be taken anywhere and even placed on a window with glass suction cups.

For this year the company has already confirmed its participation in the event and declared that it will bring two finished products: Displace Flex and Displace Mini. These TVs do not require cables or ports to work, are “super light” and can be controlled with hand gestures.

In addition to artificial intelligence, the computer market still has a lot of new things to show. Asus, for example, will hold its presentation one day before the start of the fair and will focus there on providing details of the upcoming Zephyrus G14, a gaming laptop, but will also have room for other consumer PCs, peripherals and monitors.

In the case of Nvidia, the company would announce and provide details on the RTX 4070 Super and RTX 4080 Super GPUs, its upcoming graphics cards, in which the integration of artificial intelligence is expected.

The automotive industry always has a space at the show and this year some participating brands will be Honda, Hyundai, Kia and Mercedes, bringing advances in electric cars and connectivity.

Honda, for example, will present a new electric sports car model, although it has not provided details on its new features. Kia will return to the event with several announcements, such as the PBV (Platform Beyond the Vehicle) platform, new software and hardware for its cars and electric models, among which there would be a van.

In addition to wireless television, CES will be a space to see new advances in home televisions. Most of LG’s announcements have already been leaked and it is already known that the company will bring new ranges of C4 and G4 OLED TVs, which will be capable of reaching 3000 nits of brightness. Additionally, it will display OLED gaming monitors with a frequency of 144 Hz.

In the case of Samsung, it is expected that they will reveal information about the smaller QD-OLED displays that will enter the monitor market. Furthermore, it will be time to see the new Neo QLED 8K and MicroLED models with improvements in lighting and brightness.
