First flying taxi in India by Bengali scientist – 2024-03-15 15:56:50

Flying taxis will be seen in India, not in the US or any other developed country. Behind this success is a Bengali scientist from India’s IIT Madras. The flying taxi was developed by the name of E200 eplane organization The company is founded by Satya Chakraborty, a distinguished professor of aerospace engineering at IIT Madras. He is also known as Elon Musk of India.

A smaller version of the E200 taxi, the E50, has already been successfully tested. However, it is expected that the first test flight of the E200 taxi may take place in October-November this year.

The company hopes that this special taxi will play a role in eliminating the problem of traffic congestion in the busy cities of India.

Professor Satya Chakraborty said, this taxi has been designed keeping in mind the space saving of India. At the same time, special attention has been paid to the charge capacity of the battery. It can travel short distances multiple times on a single charge.

Regarding the security system of the taxi, he said, the most emphasis is on passenger safety. A multifaceted safety strategy is used in taxis in compliance with strict international standards to avoid potential risks.

Tests of the taxi’s various components and subsystems have shown that these maneuvers can fail only 1 in a billion times. Taxis are designed to withstand extreme conditions and potential failures

In this regard, Professor Satya Chakraborty also said that emergency systems like parachutes and inflatables have been kept for soft landing in emergency situations. Advanced technologies such as vertical rotors and aerodynamic design principles have been taken to enhance flying position stability and control. The taxi can maintain flight and stability even in adverse conditions.

Two wings and vertical rotors will carry the weight of the taxi. These two systems will give extra safety to the taxi in case of emergency.

If this flying taxi service is launched, its cost will be higher than the normal taxi. It is assumed that this fare will be twice as much as the Uber fare.
