Firefighters were busy with firework damage in several locations last night. These are often car fires and waste container fires.
Four cars were burned in Veldhoven. This would include a nursery’s vehicles.

According to witnesses, a car also burned in Emmen due to the fireworks. Elsewhere in Drenthe, in the town of Roden, a fire broke out in a house after a loud bang. Local residents saw the young people running away.
A caravan went up in flames in Poederoijen, near Zaltbommel, Gelderland. Other fires were reported elsewhere in the Bommelerwaard. Car tires were set on fire in at least four places.
Ban on gatherings
Since Saturday afternoon, gatherings have been prohibited in Krabbendijke in Zeeland. He announced it after incidents of vandalism, arson and the lighting of illegal fireworks. According to the municipality, dangerous situations occurred.
The police also had to intervene last night to enforce the ban. The ban on gatherings in the Zeeland town will expire tonight at 11pm.
