On the morning of June 5, talking to reporters Dan Tri, Commander of the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team, Nam Tu Liem District Police (Hanoi) said that a fire had just occurred in an apartment in a 9-story, 1-story mini apartment building.
Specifically, at about 9:13 a.m. on the same day, at a 9-story, 1-story mini apartment building, at 26, Lane 50, Dinh Thon Street, My Dinh 1 Ward, Nam Tu Liem District, a fire broke out on the balcony of apartment 906 on the 9th floor. .
After receiving the news, the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team, Nam Tu Liem District Police coordinated with the Fire Fighting and Rescue Police Team of Region 2 to send 5 fire engines and about 30 officers and soldiers to the scene to extinguish the fire and search and rescue.
According to the police, when the fire broke out, the homeowner was away, so people broke down the door, used firefighting equipment in the building and extinguished the fire. The fire police are not responsible for organizing firefighting or coordinating with people to escape smoke.
“The fire area is about 2m2, the fire point is in the balcony area next to the living room door and bathroom of apartment 906.
The incident did not cause any human damage. Only one washing machine was damaged. The cause of the fire is being clarified,” informed the commander of the Fire Prevention and Rescue Police Team, Nam Tu Liem District Police.
