The Ministry of Finance announced that total revenues reached 126 billion and 370 million dinars, and spending reached 125 billion and 726 million dinars during the year 2023.

She explained in an official statement that the total oil revenues are 121 billion and 692 million dinars, which represents 78% of the total revenues, and the sovereign revenues are 3 billion and 388 million dinars, which represents 3%, and the audited cash balances for previous years are 798 million dinars, which represents 1%.

Regarding public spending, salaries amounted to 59 billion and 988 million dinars, management, equipment and operation expenses amounted to 9 billion and 990 million dinars, development projects and programs amounted to 11 billion and 998 million dinars, support expenses amounted to 19 billion 999 million dinars, and the exceptional financial arrangements of the National Oil Corporation amounted to 17 billion dinars. And 542 million dinars, and the exceptional financial arrangements for the General Electricity Company are 7 billion and 195 million dinars.

The statement explained that the value of revenues from selling fuel in the local market recorded 179 million and 995 thousand dinars.

The support expenses included medicine support worth 4 billion and 129 million dinars, electricity support worth 4 billion and 385 million dinars, hygiene support worth 750 million dinars, water and sanitation support worth 580 million dinars, a children’s grant worth 3 billion and 413 million dinars, and a wife and daughters grant worth 3 billion dinars. 248 million dinars, support for the families of martyrs with a value of 856 million dinars, support for sports and youth clubs with 560 million dinars, support for the basic pension with 1 billion and 658 million dinars, and support for social benefits with 419 million dinars.
