Turkish clubs have been severely punished by FIFA.

Publika.az reports, a transfer ban has been applied to 7 Superliga clubs.

In a statement issued by the highest football body, it was said that this step was taken to promote transparency. “Adana Demirspor”, “Antalyaspor”, “Alanyaspor”, “Hatayspor”, “Ankaragücü”, “Kayserispor” will be deprived of three, and “Samsunspor” two transfer windows.

Among the representatives of the lower league are Adanaspor, Akhisarspor, Alq Spor, Altay, Bursaspor, Denizlispor, Elazigspor, Erzurumspor, Giresunspor, Karabükspor, Kayseri Erciyesspor, “Manisaspor”, “Mersin Training School”, “Tuzlaspor”, “Umraniyaspor” and “Yeni Malatyaspor” were punished.

After FIFA’s statement, Murat Sancak, president of “Adana Demirspor”, shared on the official “X” account. He said that the debts owed to Yovan Manyev have been paid and the application of the transfer ban should be canceled.

It should be noted that Shahruddin Mahammadaliyev, the goalkeeper of the Azerbaijan national team, plays for “Adana Demirspor”.
