FFI Daily Chairman Michael Sianipar Monitors National Futsal Team TC in Malang, Targets AFF Cup Champion

The Daily Chair of the Indonesian Futsal Federation (FFI), Michael Victor Sianipar, directly monitored the training camp (TC) of the Men’s National Futsal Team in Malang, East Java, in preparation for the 2024 AFF Futsal which will be held in November. The TC was led by head coach Hector Souto and attended by 25 players who had been called up.

Michael emphasized the importance of the National Futsal Team not being left behind by the achievements of the National Football Team which is currently on the rise. “This is already the second week of TC in Malang. We from the federation are here to see the progress of the training. I had a discussion with the players, all of whom are enthusiastic and optimistic. We want futsal achievements to not be inferior to football which is currently on the rise,” said Michael, Tuesday (10/9/2024).

Michael hopes that with maximum preparation, the Indonesian Futsal National Team can win the AFF Cup title. “We continue to prepare the team to face the AFF well. Hopefully with intensive training, Indonesia can bring home the AFF Futsal Cup,” he added. The TC will last until the end of September and will be continued with trial matches against national teams or futsal clubs from abroad to strengthen performance ahead of the competition.
