The Regularization Commission of the Salvadoran Football Federation, headed by Humberto Sáenz Marinero, yesterday presented what was done in 2023 and the economic balances to the General Assembly, in order to receive approval to continue with its work.

During the presentation to the assembly members, they talked about the tasks entrusted by FIFA to the Regularization Commission during 2023, and they presented general balances, without entering into minor data on salaries, for example, to technical bodies, or expenses. specifically, as well as detailed and detailed income from sales of Selection rights or sponsors.

Sáenz Marinero mentioned through the federation networks part of what he would have exposed and said that “the first task entrusted by FIFA is the daily management of the FESFUT”, and that this was divided into administrative, financial, inter-institutional, legal areas. , sports and the review and creation of the statutes.

“Within these revised regulations, in addition to the statutes, the contracts with players, disciplinary regulations, licensing regulations among others stand out,” he said.

In addition, he referred to another FIFA mandate, “carry out a comprehensive audit of FESFUT’s finances to determine its current financial situation. This involved carrying out several procedures to obtain the documentation that was seized by the Attorney General’s Office of the Republic.
