The Rhythmic Gymnastics team of the Provincial Sports Federation of Loja (Fedeloja), participated from May 16 to 19 in the Advanced National Championship (First Ranking), held at the Totoracocha Sports Center-Gymnastics Coliseum in the province of Azuay, under the coordination of the Ecuadorian Gymnastics Federation (FEG) and the Azuay Gymnastics Association.
The competition objective set by the technical team made up of: Yasmir Laúcerica, Tangya Sisalima and Sofía Sarmiento, was fully met with the achievement of 16 gold, 7 silver and 4 bronze medals:
- Children’s Category (8 years): Mia Valdez, gold medal (All around); gold (hands-free) and silver (rope).
- Ac2 category (9/10 years): Camila Martínez, gold (All around), gold (hands free), gold (rope), gold (hoop); Génesis Mora, silver (All around); Diana Quirola, bronze (hands free); gold (team), silver (group).
- Category Ac3 (11/12years): Ruddy Ludeña, gold (All around), gold (freehands), gold (maces), gold (hoops); Helen Medina, silver (hoop); Lesly East, bronze (maces); gold (free hands set) and gold (hoop set)
- Junior Category (14/15 years old): Susie Ludeña, bronze (All around), silver (clubs), bronze (ribbon).
- Senior Category (16 years and older): Lía Calva, gold (All around), gold (hoop), gold (ball), silver (clubs), silver (ribbon). (D)
