The Sasi crisis in Pakistan could not stop even after the general elections, the main reason being the allegations of rigging often made by political parties.
In this situation, the leader of the former government alliance, President Pakistan Democratic Movement (PDM), Maulana Fazlur Rehman, announced the first movement.
Then he recently made a statement on TV channels that ‘No confidence against the Imran government was brought at the behest of former Army Chief General (retd) Qamar Javed Bajwa and former DGISI General (retd) Faiz Hameed. We were told to do what has to be done while staying in the system.
His former allies, the Muslim League-N and the People’s Party, have reacted strongly to his statement.
However, in the special news of journalist Ansar Abbasi on Friday, a strong denial of Maulana’s statement has been revealed regarding sources close to the former army chief and ISI chief.
Malik Ahmed Khan, the leader of Muslim League-N, said in his statement that ‘Maulana’s statement regarding the role of ex-military leadership in the lack of confidence is wrong, if there is any evidence, bring it forward. Because General Bajwa had forbidden to bring no-confidence motion in the meeting of all party leaders.
People’s Party leader Faisal Karim Kundi said in a conversation with journalists that “according to Maulana, the no-confidence against the former government was brought at the behest of the generals, Maulana should also tell who was the most beneficiary after the end of this government.” ‘
On the other hand, according to analysts, ‘Maulana Fazlur Rehman is suffering from political frustration due to JUI’s defeat in the elections. Sometimes they announce a movement against the alleged rigging, sometimes they meet the same PTI leaders they have lost to.
According to political analysts, if Maulana’s past politics are taken into consideration, he is trying to increase his political rate by interfering with the generals related to the no-confidence motion. They may not seem to be getting the share of power they were expecting.
The purpose of Maulana’s statements about generals?
In response to this question, political analyst Salman Ghani while talking to Independent Urdu said that Maulana Fazlur Rehman always seems to be standing with power if we look at his past political role.
Today Maulana Fazal Rehman told that General Faiz and General Bajwa have betrayed Pakistan. Action should be taken against them. Sadly, General Bajwa was not alone. General Faiz was also involved. pic.twitter.com/EHU5qY2YIS

Whether it is Musharraf’s martial law or the governments formed after him, he has had a role in the government. He is telling the role of General Bajwa and Faiz in the motion of no confidence against the Imran government. Why did he remember him after two and a half years and when all this was happening he was the head of PDM at that time. Maulana Fazlur Rehman’s party got the positions of ministries and governor of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa in the coalition government formed after that.
According to Salman, ‘If Maulana was understanding something politically wrong, then he could have disagreed and separated at the same time. Now he is saying such things because he probably believed that he would get a central role in the federal government, KP and Balochistan government along with the president. But after the disappointing results, they don’t seem to be fulfilling this wish.’
He further said that if Maulana was in a position to influence anyone, he would not have taken this line. He is mentioning a meeting, but he is not mentioning the meeting in which he announced to end the Islamabad dharna.
Analyst Wajahat Masood while talking to Independent Urdu said that ‘the interventionist circles of our country seem to be divided. Politicians are also divided and everyone is throwing their leaves in this situation. The purpose of hurling at Nahle is to spoil each other’s game. This is also evident in the election results and what happened after the election results. There is no uniformity in decision making. The result of which can appear in the form of chaos, speculation or anarchy and that is what is happening.’

According to Wajahat, ‘Maulana’s politics is ending just as the public contact of Muslim League-N and People’s Party is decreasing. So these political stunts of theirs are a sign of desperation, they will not gain anything.
Will JUI unite with PTI?
The current political scenario has been stirred up by the meeting of the worst rival parties of the past, Tehreek-e-Insaf and JUI regarding the alleged election rigging.
The possible government allies Muslim League-N and PPP have been surprised by the meeting with Maulana Fazlur Rehman under the leadership of Asad Qaiser on the instructions of founder PTI on Wednesday evening.
In the past, social media users seem to be sharing Imran Khan’s statements about Maulana Fazlur Rehman, while many also share videos of Maulana’s statements based on criticism of Imran Khan.
According to analyst Salman Ghani, ‘the alliance between PTI and Maulana against election rigging will not be so easy. Because in the past the two leaders have been making serious accusations against each other, the workers will definitely question them.
Now the times have changed, now the workers must ask questions to the leadership. Maulana’s supporters will not ask that if you keep calling Imran Khan a Jewish agent, then he is no longer an agent?’
He said that in the province in which Maulana Sahib is accusing KP of rigging, PTI has taken two-thirds of the majority. Even Ali Amin Gandapur wins his native seat in Dera Ismail Khan. So the question is whether there was rigging for PTI. If they have been hit, they have reached from there. Therefore, I have been saying before and I am still saying that Maulana does not put his feet in wet places. They are just throwing their weight around because they are used to being in power, the opposition cannot. He loves the governorship of KP, what he can get in Shehbaz Sharif government, he cannot get anywhere else.’
The analyst said that Maulana is still putting that expectation on Nawaz Sharif because ‘Nawaz Sharif is also injured like him, but he cannot speak like Maulana.’
According to Wajahat Masood, firstly, the alliance between PTI and JUI is unnatural and therefore difficult to happen. Second, Tehreek-e-Insaf will never make them co-powers in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, otherwise their workers will be disgusted and go somewhere else.
‘So Maulana Sahib will increase his political value and become a part of the government again.’
