Fact Check: There was no terrorist incident at Khatu Shyam Temple in Rajasthan, video of mock drill goes viral with false claim

New Delhi (Vishvas News). A clip is going viral on various social media platforms. In this, some soldiers and two people can be seen lying on the ground. While making this clip viral, it is being claimed that there has been a terrorist attack on Khatu Shyam temple in Sikar, Rajasthan.

Vishvas News investigated the viral post. It proved to be misleading. Investigation revealed that a mock drill was conducted at Khatu Shyam Temple on September 3. Some people are making the video related to the same viral on social media, considering it to be a real terrorist incident.

Vishwas News started the investigation with Google Open Search Tool. Keywords were created based on the viral claim and searched on Google. We came to know from many reports that a mock drill was conducted at Khatu Shyam Temple on September 3.

Published on NDTV Rajasthan website on 3 September the news It was told in the report, “Every year lakhs of devotees visit Khatu Shyamji temple in Rajasthan to have darshan of Baba Shyam. A mock drill was organized in the temple today (September 3) by the ATS to ensure the safety of the devotees and to deal with emergency situations.” Read the full news Here Can be read.

NDTV Rajasthan has also shared a video of this mock drill on its X handle. It also wrote that Sikar: ATS mock drill at Khatushyamji temple. Mock drill of terrorists hiding in the temple and taking the employee hostage. ATS conducted a mock drill to kill two dummy terrorists.

During the investigation, we found the original video uploaded on a YouTube channel. Shekhawati Anchal News reported on September 3 that ATS killed two terrorists in a mock drill at Khatushyamji temple. The part related to the viral video can also be seen in this news.

Taking the investigation forward, the e-paper of Dainik Bhaskar published from Sikar was scanned. Giving information in the e-paper of 4th September, it was told that the ERT team of ATS conducted a mock drill at Khatu Shyam temple. Local police was also present. The full news can be read below.

Vishwas News furthered the investigation and contacted Dainik Jagran, Rajasthan’s senior correspondent Narendra Sharma. He told that a mock drill was conducted at Khatu Shyam Mandir in Sikar. Some people are spreading confusion by considering the video of the same as a real terrorist incident.

At the end of the investigation, the user who made the mock drill viral thinking it to be a real terrorist incident was investigated. No specific information was found about this account.
