After Prime Minister Narendra Modi took oath for his third consecutive term, a picture of the swearing-in ceremony is going viral on social media, in which he can be seen greeting other senior leaders who took oath as ministers along with him. It is being claimed that when Prime Minister Narendra Modi was greeting other senior leaders, Nitin Gadkari did not respond to his greetings.
Vishvas News found this claim to be false in its investigation. The viral photo is indeed from the same ceremony, but it is a selected frame, which shows the same frame in which Gadkari is seen standing in a normal posture. In fact, he had replied to PM Modi’s greeting by greeting him with a namaste.

The Indian Express’ Report According to the report, this picture is from the swearing-in ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Sunday, January 9, in which Narendra Modi took oath as Prime Minister along with other ministers for the third consecutive term.
After this, we searched for the video of the swearing-in ceremony and found the video of this program uploaded on the official YouTube channel of ‘President of India’.
In the video of the swearing-in ceremony, which lasted for about three and a quarter hours, in the frames from 34.40/3.17.00 to 35.02/3.17.00, Nitin Gadkari can be clearly seen responding to the courtesy greeting of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
The visuals of the swearing-in ceremony are also available in several other video reports and it can be seen in all of them.
Our investigation clearly shows that the viral photo is a selected frame of the swearing-in ceremony, in which Nitin Gadkari is seen standing in a normal posture.
