New Delhi (Vishvas News). A screenshot of an ex-post is being made viral, targeting Congress national spokesperson and party’s social and digital media president Supriya Shrinet. This screenshot has been used several times before to spread propaganda against former Congress president Sonia Gandhi and Supriya Shrinet. Now once again this screenshot is being shared.
Vishwas News investigated the viral screenshot. It was found that it is fake. No such post has been made by Supriya Shrinet. To know the truth of this, Vishwas News used online tools and spoke to Supriya Shrinet herself. Supriya Shrinet denied the viral post and said that she never posted anything of this kind.

Vishwas News first used X Advanced Search Tool to check the viral X post in the name of Supriya Srinet. Here, an attempt was made to search on Supriya Srinet’s account by entering the content of the viral post. We did not find a single such post on the old date.
The viral x-post was dated 24 April 2012. Based on this, we once again investigated Advanced Search We found that Supriya Shrinet’s first post was made on May 2, 2012. It can be seen below.
Vishwas News took the investigation further and did a comparative study of the format of posts made on X. In the collage below, it can be clearly seen that in the viral post, there is a huge gap below the picture, whereas in reality, when a picture is uploaded on X, there is not so much gap.
We also searched about this on Google, but did not find any such media report. If any person in the UPA government had posted against Sonia Gandhi in this manner, it would have definitely been in the news.
Speaking to Vishvas News, Supriya Shrinet said, “The trolls should know very well that I come from a Congress family. My father was a Congress MP from 2009 to 2014 and I have always been an ardent fan of Sonia Gandhi ji. No such tweet has ever been posted from my account as is being made viral. I will take legal action against those who have circulated this fake tweet.”
At the end of the investigation, we verified the user who posted the fake post. No information was available as the account was locked.

Conclusion: Vishvas News’ investigation revealed that Supriya Shrinet did not post anything objectionable about Sonia Gandhi. The viral post is fake. Supriya Shrinet herself has denied this.
