It has been claimed that according to the new instructions of the Election Commission, voting in the country will not be done through EVMs but through ballot paper.
Vishvas News investigated the viral post in detail. The claim was proved false during investigation. Fake news is going viral in the name of Election Commission. Investigation revealed that a newspaper had published a news in a humorous tone on the occasion of Holi special issue. The same news is being made viral on social media considering it to be true.

The Facebook page ‘Aapka Apna Shivam Bamaniya’ posted a message on March 25. Post Wrote, “#New guidelines issued by Government of India Election Commission for Lok Sabha elections #New instructions of Commission: Voting will be done through ballot paper and not EVM.”

Now it was the turn to investigate the account of the user who shared the funny news considering it to be true. It was revealed that more than four thousand people follow the Facebook page ‘Aapka Apna Shivam Bamaniya’. The operator of this account is a resident of Bhopal.
