Fact Check: Dubai video used in viral reel in the name of development of Noida

New Delhi (Vishvas News). A reel is being shared on different platforms of social media. It has been made by combining two videos. The year 2015 is written on the first video and 2024 is written on the second video. It is being claimed that this change has taken place in Noida from 2015 to 2024.

Vishvas News investigated the viral reel. This proved to be misleading. The second part of the reel is not from Noida, but from Dubai. Whereas, the first part is of a crossing in Greater Noida.

When Vishvas News started reading the comments on the reel at the beginning of the investigation, it came to light that a video from Dubai was also used in it. Many users termed the reel as fake and wrote that the video from Dubai has been used for the development of Noida.

On this basis, Vishvas News investigated the viral reel in two parts. First started gathering information about the 2015 video. The location seen in the video is of Gautam Buddha Nagar district, this was confirmed. But to know the exact location we Google Earth Used. Searched Gautam Buddha Nagar district in this. We found a location similar to the first part of the viral video in Greater Noida. This is a video of Iteda crossing of Greater Noida.

If seen in the collage given below, the design of the crossing, the surrounding road and the mode appear to be the same. Apart from this, the building on the left side in front of the crossing is visible in both the viral video and Google Earth.

Now it was time to check the second part of the viral reel, i.e. the video of 2024. Based on the clue from the comments on the reel, we started searching for a road in Dubai that was visible in the reel. For this, we first took a screenshot of the second part of the video with the help of snipping tool. Then started searching it through Google Lens. us a guy named journeyfly01 instagram handle But found a video. The viral reel video can be seen in the initial part of the video. This proved that the video of Dubai is being made viral in the name of Noida.

Once again taking the investigation forward Google Earth Was used. We found a place similar to the second part of the video in Dubai. This can be seen in the collage below.

Vishvas News contacted Lokesh Chauhan, in-charge of Dainik Jagran, Noida, in the next phase of investigation. He said that the viral post is misleading. The second part used in this is not from Noida.

At the end of the investigation, the user who shared the viral reel was investigated. It was revealed that 1.28 lakh people follow Instagram user Smart City Noida.

Conclusion: In the investigation of Vishvas News, the viral reel in the name of development of Noida proved to be misleading. In this, an attempt was made to spread confusion by using a video from Dubai.
