On the evening of March 20, Facebook users in Vietnam and around the world reported not being able to download cover photos, losing search history, and not being able to view friends’ stories.

Accordingly, this incident does not only occur on mobile applications, but also on the web version of one of the largest social networking platforms in the world today.
Facebook does not download friends’ stories
As noted by VietNamNet, the “blank” status of cover photo, search history and not displaying friend status started around 10pm (Vietnam time) and by 11pm the problem still had not been fixed. Data from Down Detector shows that within just 1 hour, there were more than 1,700 user reports about Facebook problems.
This is the second time this month Facebook has encountered widespread problems. Previously, on March 5, this social network encountered a problem that the company announced was a “technical error” that caused many user accounts to be logged out.
