Tulsa King, the series with Sylvester Stallone, may be looking for new extras. The previous batch remains at home after being humiliated on set by the famous actor.
It is the casting agency responsible for the people in the background that has withdrawn all its employees after several complaints. In a press release they accuse Sylvester Stallone of inappropriate behavior on set. It turns out that Stallone has been repeatedly making fun of the extras since the first recordings, two years ago now.
This often involves verbal insults. For example, he called a man “ugly” in the presence of other employees, and according to Stallone, another extra looked like “a tub of pork fat”. Stallone then reportedly suggested that the production should bring “beautiful young girls around me,” “instead of those ugly extras.”
Casting company Rose Locke Casting from Atlanta subsequently decided to discontinue the collaboration. Stallone and the makers of the series have not yet responded to the accusations about the toxic work atmosphere. According to intimates, the production house behind the series only recently found out what was going on on the set, after numerous messages on social media. To further complete the recordings, they will now have to hire another casting agency.
In Tulsa King, 77-year-old Stallone plays the role of mafia boss Dwight Mandfredi who spent 25 years behind bars.
