The fourth edition of Expo-Cuanza Sul, which will take place from the 13th to the 16th of September, will feature the participation of at least 250 national and foreign exhibitors, with emphasis on Cape Verdeans, Brazilians, Namibians, Portuguese and Zimbabweans.
According to Angop, the event, which will take place under the motto “Cuanza Sul towards productive agro-business and fishing development”, will feature the participation of national businesspeople from the provinces of Luanda, Benguela and Huila, as well as foreign companies based in Angola
Speaking to the press today, in the municipality of Porto-Amboim, the administrator of the company Calas, organizer of the Expo, Carlos Santos Calas, said that the assembly of the stands is currently being completed.
He said that for four days companies will exhibit products from the general commerce sector, agro-industrial and fishing sector, banking, insurance companies, oil companies, technological solutions, construction and decoration, cultural industry, manufacturing industry, hotels and tourism, education and training, transport and logistics, machinery and equipment and service providers.
The objective of the fair, according to the interviewee, is to relaunch and boost the economy of the province of Cuanza Sul, establishing strategic business partnerships for this purpose, as well as encouraging the capture of private investment.
The certainly also aims to create opportunities, attract investors through the dissemination of potential and business opportunities existing in the province, contribute to the recovery and relaunch of agro-industrial activity, as well as identify and involve public and private actors who, directly or indirectly, come to boost the implementation of the strategic development plan and combat poverty and rural exodus, through the injection of capital and the consequent creation of jobs.
