Hamas’ armed group, Al-Qassam Brigades, announced that Israel targeted the city of Tel Aviv and its suburbs with two “M90” rockets.
THEY HAVE REACHED HIGH ALERT LEVEL FOR THE FIRST TIME
Israel has been expecting an attack from Iran for nearly two weeks in response to the assassination of Hamas Political Bureau Chairman Ismail Haniyeh in Tehran. The country is in a state of unrest, and Israel was put on high alert for the first time in August after observations of Iranian and Hezbollah preparations for a counter-attack.
The country, which was on red alert, was targeted today by two rockets by the armed wing of Hamas. The Qassam Brigades said in a statement that Israel targeted the city of Tel Aviv and its suburbs with two “M90” rockets.
“ROCKETS FELL INTO THE SEA”
The Times of Israel, an Israeli media outlet, reported that explosions were heard in Tel Aviv and that two long-range rockets were fired from the Gaza Strip towards Israel. The rockets reportedly fell into the sea off the coast of Tel Aviv.
It was stated that sirens did not sound during the attack and that this was because the rockets were not aimed at residential areas.
