Explore Historic Sites in 3 Cities on a Leisurely Stroll through Havaianas City Walk

JAKARTA – In order to commemorate Indonesia’s 79th Independence Day, Havaianas presents Havaianas City Walk, a relaxing activity that invites HavaFriends to enjoy precious moments by walking around the city.

The event is held in three major cities, namely Surabaya (August 10), Jakarta (August 16), and Bandung (August 18). Each city is guided by a local walking community that is ready to provide insight into historical sites in each location visited.

Havaianas City Walk is part of the Break The Rush campaign which aims to invite people to enjoy the moment more relaxedly. In this event, participants wore the Brasil Logo and Top collections from Havaianas, which combine stylish style and comfort to explore historical areas with the spirit of freedom.

“We are very excited to organize Havaianas City Walk as part of the Break The Rush campaign. This event not only offers a fun experience, but also invites participants to get closer to the history and culture of Indonesia,” said Lee Walker, Vice President of Footwear & Active Division at Kanmo Group.

Through collaboration with local walking communities, Havaianas wants to strengthen the spirit of independence by inviting people to know and appreciate Indonesian history and culture better. After walking around, participants enjoy a togetherness session, where they can relax while enjoying a meal, do cloth workshops (only in Surabaya) and play traditional Indonesian games (Jakarta and Bandung).

This event is also an opportunity for HavaFriends to share experiences and connect with fellow Havaianas lovers in various cities.
