In Gómez Palacio, the Municipal Health Directorate is the only place authorized to issue permits for the use of tinted windows in vehicles. Office hours are Monday to Friday from 8 in the morning to 4 in the afternoon.
It must be remembered that the granting of permits arose after restrictions on the use of tinting were announced in the municipality last year.
“The tinted permits continue and are not going to stop, it is important that in this season when the heat begins, people who suffer from any dermatitis problem or visual problems, present themselves to obtain their permit and we are gladly available to the population so that people who are at risk are not harmed further,” commented the head of Municipal Health. Adame de León commented that last year, the agency he is in charge of issued around 680 permits for the use of tinted windows.
The official said that they will analyze whether in future Council sessions the validity of the use of tinted lenses can be extended to this sector of the population so that people “are not going around so much.”
