Folk empress Mumtaz Begum has been busy with music again since this year’s parliamentary elections. He has also participated in several events of this year’s Eid. As always, he participated in a live program on the private TV channel Banglavision on the moonlit night of Eid.
Meanwhile, on the occasion of this Eid, Mumtaz has sung a song titled ‘Tejpata’ under the banner of TM Records with lyrics and music by Kaushik Hossain Tapas. On the occasion of Eid, the song was released on TM Records’ YouTube channel on March 10.

Meanwhile, Mumtaz Begum is excited about the song and gave a status on her social media. In it, Mumtaz writes, “‘Tejpata’ released by TM Records, the largest production company in Bangladesh, created with lyrics, music, music and video direction by Tapas, is now on one of the world’s most respected billboards in New York’s Times Square!”
Mumtaz also wrote, ‘Such world-class promotion of Bengali songs sung in my voice is undoubtedly a matter of great pride for me and us. Inshallah, we will continue this journey to bring Bengali music to the world. Your love and inspiration is our strength. We are eternally grateful.’
