Just over a year after their wedding, Remco Evenepoel and Oumi Rayane are ready for the next step in their lives.
The two have bought an apartment near Schepdaal! Agna Van Eeckhout, Evenepoel’s mother, revealed this a few months ago in an interview with The latest news. However, it is unclear whether they actually already live there.
Last year Evenepoel also bought a house in Calpe, on the Spanish coast, but that is not his permanent residence. “Calpe is only for training in the winter,” says mother Evenepoel.
“You can see that things are going really well between those two. How they interact with each other, they try to spend time together as best they can, they take care of each other: really nice. Patrick and I recognize the younger versions of us themselves in it.”
Children
Oumi recently said in an interview that she definitely wants children, but that isn’t immediate. “They are young and still have time. If a baby comes tomorrow, Oumi will be given almost all the tasks exclusively. Remco wouldn’t like that. Of course he’s a great dad, but he really wants that role 100%. This is not possible for the moment
