On Monday, Erdogan criticized the Israeli attack on the town of Rafah over the weekend. Earlier, the city was described as a ‘safe place’. He said, “Sunday’s attack on Rafah, following the order of the International Court of Justice, revealed the treacherous and brutal nature of the terrorist state.”
At the same time, he took one hand of the Israeli Prime Minister. “The hateful Netanyahu and his murderous network have failed to defeat the Palestinian resistance,” Erdogan said. And so they are trying to seize power by committing genocide.’
Netanyahu emulates war criminals
Erdogan also criticized Netanyahu for imitating war criminals. “Netanyahu is emulating ex-Yugoslav strongman Slobodan Milosevic, Bosnian genocide politician Radovan Karadzic and the late German dictator Adolf Hitler,” he said. He can do nothing but lament like them.’
Erdogan insisted Turkey would “do whatever it takes to bring Israelis to justice for barbaric crimes.”
Dozens of people were killed in Rafah
Israel attacked a camp of displaced Palestinians in Rafah on Sunday. At least 45 people were killed and dozens more injured.
The Gaza media office said the attack took place near a warehouse of UNRWA, the United Nations relief agency for Palestinian refugees, located in Tal al-Sultan. The Israeli army carried out airstrikes targeting several tents in this area. They used missiles and 2,000 rounds of bombs.
Earlier, the Gaza Civil Defense reported that 100,000 displaced Palestinians had taken refuge in the area.
