Many have put England in the list of possible title winners in the Euro Championship. Harry Kane, one of their strikers, is looking forward to winning the trophy. Southgate’s team started the tournament in Germany with a win. Jude Bellingham’s goal earned England a 1-0 win over Serbia to become the first team in Group C to win.
England continued to dominate the 4-2-3-1 formation at the Afsalk Arena. The attack was also ahead. But one goal came in this half. Serbia got the ball in a 3-4-2-1 formation and got few chances to score. However, he could not score a single goal.
England went ahead with a goal in the 13th minute of the match. Bukayo Saka crossed from the right, the ball hit an opponent’s foot in the six yard box and Real star Bellingham found the address.
England were in danger seven minutes later. Trent Alexander-Arnold lost the ball in their own end and Aleksandar Mitrovic got it. This forward of Al Hilal took a strong shot, but the English left the half if it missed the target.

Towards the end, Serbia almost got the goal by keeping the opponent under pressure. But the goalkeeper’s effort and finishing failure did not.
England got off to the desired start with three points in the first match.
