Mariano Serna Muñoz, president of the National Chamber of Commerce (Canaco) in Torreón, said that in the last four years this problem has worsened considerably, however, today there is greater openness on the part of the officials of that agency towards the business sector.

“In the last four years, we see how it has been deteriorating, the effects we have due to the variation in voltage are increasing, they are variations that last a short time, for them it is not considered that there is permanent damage but for commerce Yes, it is, there is damage to the equipment and daily work is affected,” he explained.

He said that at the national level the problem has arisen in the generation of energy and transmission, not just in the supply, which has caused “blackouts”, which are already for longer periods of time, to the point that they have had to be suspended. activities in some businesses.

“We ended up closing our business because the power hasn’t come back on for a long time, that also affects us a lot, we also had a report from our members that their workers were at the Social Security clinic and the power went out, that too It affects us as a trade and as services, it affects the industry, it affects us all,” he explained.

Serna Muñoz said that in the last week blackouts have been detected in Senderos, Valle Verde, Valle Oriente, Abastos, Colonia Estrella, in the Center, in Los Fresnos, that is, it is widespread throughout the city.
