Emir of Qatar will visit Nepal on a two-day state visit

Kathmandu: Qatar’s Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani will pay a two-day state visit to Nepal on Tuesday at the invitation of Nepali President Ramchandra Paudel, Ministry of Foreign Affairs (MoFA). The announcement was made on Sunday. In a press release, MoFA said, “At the cordial invitation of President Ramchandra Paudel of Nepal, His Highness Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani, Amir of the State of Qatar, 23-24 April 2024Coming on a state visit to Nepal.
According to the ministry, the Emir of the State of Qatar will meet the Nepali President at Sheetal Niwas, followed by a state banquet in honor of the Emir of the State of Qatar. The next day, Emir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al-Thani will hold bilateral talks with Nepalese Prime Minister Pushpa Kamal Dahal ‘Prachanda’ on April 24, 2024. “After the talks, the two leaders will witness the signing ceremony of bilateral agreements and memoranda of understanding,” the release said. The Qatari Emir will depart from Kathmandu on April 24, 2024. (ANI)
