In large steps, this is how Elvia Milena Sanjuán’s campaign for ‘El Cesar en Marcha’ is advancing, committing to prioritizing each territory for the economic and social development of the department.
The fruitful tour of the candidate’s weekend agenda began in La Jagua de Ibirico, accompanied by candidates for the assembly, the council and the mayor’s office, visiting the towns of Boquerón, La Victoria de San Isidro and La Palmita. In this area, Elvia Milena listened carefully to the needs of the community and reaffirmed her commitments to productivity, decent housing, drinking water, and supporting the management so that 1.5 of the urban pavement reaches Boquerón.
The Coffee Park, in La Victoria de San Isidro, was the appropriate setting for Sanjuán to express its responsibility in strengthening the facilities of the Agricultural Educational Institution, the rural road network, a 24-hour ambulance and the construction of the Guarumaru bridge. In La Palmita, the community expressed the need for a greater police presence, promotion of culture and progress in education and health.
Meanwhile, north of Valledupar, the development proposal for the ethnic groups of the department of Cesar was presented by Elvia Milena Sanjuán in Atánquez, as was the construction of an integration center and spaces for the healthy recreation of young people. While, in the town of La Mina, she agreed to articulate and concerted work with natural leaders of the territory, having as its main task the promotion of tourism and support in the generation of local commerce.
“I am leaving with that idea of the Backpack Route, the panela route and the alfandoque route and I know that we are going to develop it,” said Elvia Milena Sanjuán.
During her visit to the inhabitants of Pueblo Bello, Elvia Milena highlighted the importance of strengthening the agricultural sector, valuing and promoting culture and sustainable tourism.
To the Bosconenses, Sanjuán gave them some peace of mind by expressing “My commitment to the ‘Cruce’ is that it remains in March.”
During her time in Tamalameque, Elvia Milena Sanjuán spoke about the Industrial Capitalization incentive (ICI), through which she will promote the purchase of machinery during her ‘El Cesar en Marcha’ government. To the town of Zapatosa, Elvia arrived energetically with her work team, to share with them the investment proposals for health, education, basic sanitation and drinking water.
The successful closing of the marathon agenda ended in El Paso, where the next governor of Cesar announced important works such as the construction of the hospital and the bridge in the port of San Martín.
