Elon Musk’s intense interest in Mars is not new. He wants to build a human settlement on the red planet. This American billionaire has announced that desire once again. He has planned to send 1 million people to Mars.

A video of a rocket built by SpaceX, owned by Musk, was recently shared on social media platform X from a handle called Tesla Owners Silicon Valley. The caption reads, Starship is the biggest rocket ever built and will take us to Mars.

Tesla CEO Elon Musk shared the post on his handle. With this he writes, we are making a ‘game plan’ to take 10 people to Mars.

We are mapping out a game plan to get a million people to Mars.

Civilization only passes the single-planet Great Filter when Mars can survive even if Earth supply ships stop coming.

Last Monday (February 12) in another post, the world’s richest man expressed his interest in Mars. Sharing a photo of Musk and his son on X, one wrote, “Having children and spending time with them is the greatest joy of my life.

Musk wrote after sharing the post, and then I started thinking about Mars. Elon Musk looked very cool in the picture. He may have said this with reference to that.

The billionaire has said many times that he wants to colonize Mars and make humans a ‘multiplanetary species’.

In 2011, he said he would send at least one man to Mars within the next 10 years. However, Musk said in 2022 that he had pushed back the deadline for sending humans to Mars. In a post on X, the SpaceX chief said that he now wants to see 2029 as the year of the first human footprints on Mars.
