Vienna (OTS) It is well known that physical activity helps the body stay healthy. But even when things aren’t going so well, regular exercise improves the quality of life. In the case of high blood pressure, heart muscle weakness, cardiac arrhythmias or after a heart attack: targeted exercise is the engine that drives the heart, but also supports psychological recovery. Physical activity relieves stress, as endurance sports bring stress hormones such as cortisol or adrenaline into balance and are therefore also good for the psyche.
