The Colombian Institute of Family Welfare, ICBF, led a meeting with the participation of 16 of the 25 elected leaders in the department of Cesar, to disseminate the Together for Children strategy aimed at guaranteeing the rights of children and adolescents in the territory.
The event included the intervention of the deputy director of Territorial Articulation of the National Family Welfare System (SNBF), Rodrigo Elías Daza, who presented the intersectoral strategy ‘Atrapasueños’, for the prioritized municipalities of Cesar, after highlighting that this meeting represents a step significant towards strengthening cooperation between government entities to build a more promising future for the region.
Likewise, the entity explained that on the day municipal leaders were urged to continue or initiate processes that promote the well-being and development of children and adolescents from each of their territories.
“Interinstitutional collaboration stands as a key tool to address challenges and promote equitable progress in the department of Cesar,” indicated the ICBF.
For their part, the municipal leaders who attended had the opportunity to express the needs and suggestions of their territories, while the entities committed to listening and collaborating in the implementation of public policies, especially those related to generation for life and Peace.
