“I am very happy and proud to be a player of the club of my dreams and the biggest club,” added the 25-year-old striker in Spanish, who signed his five-year contract with Real Madrid president Florentino Perez before the official presentation.

Coming from Paris Saint-Germain (PSG), Mbappé arrives in Spain after a disappointing Euro Cup on an individual level, where his star image was overshadowed by the young Spanish revelation Lamine Yamal.
The 25-year-old French captain had a difficult final season at PSG, marked by the tension surrounding his refusal to renew his contract, after which he ended and signed for Real Madrid. He said he felt “liberated” and “relieved.”

Mbappé’s possible debut at the Bernabéu will have to wait until next week, when Real Madrid host Real Valladolid, one of the recently promoted teams from the second division.
Real Madrid hope to recoup his costly signing (salary estimated at 15 million euros net -16.36 million dollars- per season and signing bonus of more than 100 million -109 million dollars-) thanks to the various economic benefits that the French player brings, such as sponsorship contracts, shirt or ticket sales, among others.
Mbappé, for his part, hopes to finally win a Champions League and the Ballon d’Or, two objectives that he has always had clear.
