62 LOSSES OF LIVES IN ACCIDENTS IN 7 DAYS
Minister of Internal Affairs Ali Yerlikaya, who stated that 62 people lost their lives in traffic accidents that occurred in the last 7 days since the holiday started, announced that 8 thousand 690 people were injured. On the 7th day of the holiday, 13 people died in traffic accidents. While 597 traffic accidents occurred, a total of 1,07 people were injured.
THOUSANDS OF VEHICLES WERE PROCESSED
Noting that 406 thousand 165 vehicles were inspected, speed and radar procedures were applied to 21 thousand 129 vehicles, and other procedures were applied to 39 thousand 21 vehicles, Minister Yerlikaya said, “Please do not overspeed. Let’s not forget to wear seat belts in both our vehicles and buses. Let’s obey the traffic rules.
