Gaza has become a sea of rubble in six months of genocide by Israel. However, the Zionist colonial regime still did not reduce its attacks, even when Muslims there welcomed Eid al-Fitr.
“Over the past 24 hours, warplanes and drones targeted dozens of targets in various areas of the Gaza Strip,” said a statement issued by the Israeli military, reported by Anadolu.
The statement claimed Israeli army strikes targeted “military sites, rocket launch platforms and tunnel openings.”
The statement also mentioned “face-to-face clashes” with Palestinian fighters in central Gaza.
The Israeli army presence in Gaza is now limited to the Nahal Brigade stationed along the Netzarim axis that separates the north and south, with the aim of preventing Palestinian refugees from returning to the north.
The Palestinian movement, Hamas, has not commented on the Israeli colonial army’s statement.
Israel has launched deadly military attacks on the Gaza Strip since an October 7 cross-border attack by the Palestinian Resistance group Hamas, which killed just under 1,200 Israelis.
However, since then, Haaretz has revealed that Israeli army helicopters and tanks have, in fact, killed many of Israel’s own 1,139 soldiers and civilians.
