Eighteen-year-old Amar, who when he came to our country from Syria in 2017 did not know a word of Greek, today he studies history and philosophy, while he starred in a performance by the National Opera. Deba from Mali, upon his arrival in 2020, was placed in a long-term accommodation facility for unaccompanied minors. Today he studies French language and philology at the University of Athens.
