EDE for the inability to transport a child from Ioannina

A Sworn Administrative Examination was ordered by EKAB to investigate the complaint regarding the transfer of a seven-year-old child from the University Hospital of Ioannina to the Children’s Hospital.

EKAV, after the father’s complaint and the fact that he himself had to transport his daughter to Athens, stated that he never refused to carry out the transport, but informed the doctor who had the communication that he cannot guarantee the arrival in Athens before the end of duty at the Children’s Hospital.

The issue has taken on nationwide proportions. It’s not something that happens every day, especially when it comes to a child.
