The change logging system National Electoral Council (CNE) was enabled for those who live abroad and You have not updated your electoral address.
Only in the following cases people will be able to do the address change:
- When you have not updated your electoral address since leaving the country
- If the person has his/her electoral domicile abroad and has changed his/her address to another city or country
Keeping the electoral address updated will provide the citizen who lives abroad with the chance of being participant to exercise their right to vote in national elections.
To access the Electoral Address Change Registration System of the CNE, Ecuadorian citizens living abroad must:
- Click on the ‘buttonNew user‘ and complete the requested information.
- After that you will be assigned a ‘Username‘ and one ‘clave provisional‘, which will be sent to your email address.
- Access your email and proceed according to the instructions and change the ‘clave provisional‘ by a clave from his trust. (I)
